Think about one thing: without Charles there would be no Magneto. He’d remain a vigilante, assasin, a Nazi-hunter - or he’d die during his quest to get Shaw. He’d keep using just a shred of his power, moving knives, coins, chains. Charles was the one who’s helped him unlocking his mutant skills and made him such a powerful villain. That’s why XMFC is such an interesting movie - because it shows the way they both - through their shared history - essentially created one another. And it adds one extra layer to already complicated story of their relationship…
